Deliciously Dark
Many arguments/discussions have raged about the sound Muso creates at their live gigs. The best we have heard it called is “deliciously dark”, which is pretty darn close to the mark and probably sums up what you hear.

The Muso sound is built on two key elements … reverb and delay. The songs are dripping in these effects when they are delivered, and they perfectly complement Del’s dark and unique vocals, adding to the drama of the musical performance.

Then there is Ash’s unhurried yet blistering guitar playing, every note perfectly painted onto the canvas of each song. One moment quiet and gentle, the next soaring crazily to dizzying heights, driven by the heated valves housed within the phenomenal Mesa Boogie Maverick amplifier that unleashes the guitars’ inner beauty like a butterfly breaking free from its cocoon to bring vivid colour to a grey landscape.

The Muso sound is no accident. It has been carefully refined over time to give you the soundscape that now defines this awesome band. Guitars, amps and effects have been carefully mixed and matched in search of "that" tone, and Muso have just about reached perfection.
